Even though the track of Jokioinen Museum Railway is covered by a thick layer of snow, the work shop keeps running like it has been all the winter. On the locomotive side there are two locomotives under reparation. The TU4 diesel locomotive has been undergoing service and upgrades of some of its systems. The JR 4 Tubize steam locomotive is going through a boiler renovation. Work with the Hyvinkää-Karkkila railway coach is also continuing.
On the first weekend of February the leaking radiator of TU4 was repaired. The radiator elements were removed and tested. The problem was finally found to be a leaking gasket as the element itself was fine and there was no oil leakage.
New tubes were installed in the boiler Tubize and the first ones were also fixed by expanding one end of the tubes. Tube expanding is also now officially certified work at Jokioinen Museum railway as two of the members were officially certified to do the work.
