Despite freezing temperatures and huge amount of snow outside, is Museum Railway workshop at Minkiö running also during winter. In locomotive shop some maintenance has been done for HKR5 steam locomotive and TU4 diesel locomotive. TU4 was recently equipped with handbrake and cabin heater. Now under maintenance is Schöma diesel locomotive and little Pedershaab diesel shunter.
The shunter will be completely renoved for Finnish Turf Museum in Aitoneva. Gauge of locomotive is 600 millimetres.
Wagon shop volunteers have been busy with former Hyvinkää-Karkkila railway coach. Outer wall plates were pre-installed during January and some of the plates were finally installed in mid-February. Also inner walls, benches and roof sections were finally painted. Next phases will be installation of window frames and painting the outer walls.
